Our Lives are Made to be Forgotten. From a Poem

Updated: Dec 3, 2022

Our whole lives are made

to be forgotten

as the bee loses itself

in the womb of the hive

and the moon loses its face

in the stillness of the lake;

we can only breathe

our being into expanse so close,

an upsurge of animal joy

while our fingers write few words.
