A one day Mindfulness Retreat at The Wise Lotus Centre. Next date available: November 9th 2023 December 6th 2023 9.30am-2.30pm This retreat offers you an opportunity to simply pause from the stresses of every day life and reconnect with yourself. The day is suitable for anybody wishing to bring the benefits of mindfulness into their daily life. Suitable for beginners as well as more experienced individuals who would like to give their mindfulness practice a boost. A retreat day is an ideal opportunity to relax and immerse yourself in mindfulness practices. It is a time dedicated to reconnecting with yourself and nourish your mind. There will be nowhere you have to go, no household chores to complete, no imminent responsibilities to fulfil. You can simply be present in the moment. The day includes a range of guided meditations, mindfulness practices, talks, time for reflection, and small group work. You will learn ways to nurture yourself through mindfulness, engage in compassion and gratitude meditations and explore ways to enhance wellbeing through your practice. The day is run by Nshorna, the founder of The Wise Lotus Centre and will be offered in a nurturing and supportive environment with a full commitment to your wellbeing throughout the day. All you need is some comfy clothes and we will do the rest. For age 18 plus. Refreshments provided. The day starts at 9.30am and finishes at 2.30pm. Feel free to come on your own or with a friend.
